Gammatec was established in 1981 and in 2009 became a subsidiary of the NTP Group of
Companies. Initially the Company only marketed and sold its limited range of NDT Products in
South Africa but, with the lifting of political sanctions on the country in 1994, Gammatec quickly
and successfully made use of the opportunities presented by the NDT Industry and the rest of the
world. Currently we actively export to over seventy countries worldwide. Our Head Office is
situated in Vereeniging, South Africa, and our subsidiary offices in Dubai, Kuala Lumpur,
Melbourne (Lectromax), and Brussels (Oserix), provide a high profile “ground floor” presence in
these regions, with key distributors appointed in various other countries. The Vereeniging office
services South Africa, the rest of Africa and surrounding Islands as well as the Indian Ocean Rim.
The Middle East, Baltic and Caspian are handled from the Dubai office and our KL office handles
South East Asia and the Far East. Lectromax are manufacturers and global suppliers of Magnetic
Particle Bench Units and sell Gammatec products within the Australasian region. Oserix covers
Europe, Canada, North and South America regions.

Thickness Gauges), KODAK (Film and digital), NTP (Isotopes), Oserix (Gammaray projectors),
Phoenix (UT Scanners), Physical Acoustics Limited (Acoustics), and Sonatest (UT and PA).
Each subsidiary has electronic and mechanical maintenance departments with qualified and skilled
technicians capable of repairing, maintaining and calibrating the wide range of products we sell.
The Company’s highly trained National and International Sales and Administrative Staff allow
Customer enquiries and purchases to be quickly and efficiently executed. Products such as
Radioisotopes and sensitive Ultrasonic Flaw Detection equipment are handled with competent
ease.
